Margaret Burnside, Vice President of Marketing, eOne Films Canada.  Margaret has almost 30 years of experience in the motion picture distribution and exhibition industry in Canada. Margaret was Vice President, Marketing for Alliance Films Inc. before the company was acquired by Entertainment One in 2013. Before joining Alliance Films in 1998, she was Director, Production at MIJO Comprehensive and was responsible for overseeing the company's Theatrical Production team. Margaret started her career in the Canadian film industry as a barista at Cineplex Odeon's Carlton Cinema, while studying at Ryerson, and then worked her way into head office as a member of the Theatre Operations team. Margaret put her previous publishing experience to good use and shifted over to the company's in-house agency and worked her way up to the position of Director, Advertising for Cineplex Entertainment.

Margaret has been a proud member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers since 1996. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and was recipient of a Silver Spotlight Award in 2008 and is also a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
