Julia has spent her career in Marketing and Communications in the entertainment industry, working between both film and television. She currently is the Director of Publicity at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures where she oversees strategy and direction for Publicity & XM campaigns for Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm theatrical releases. 

Prior to that she worked at Touchwood PR, Warner Bros Television, CTV Bell Media and Alliance Atlantis Films. She recently became a proud member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers and is thrilled to now join the Pioneering Women committee.
